Job Description
Conduct daily in-person sales calls to build and nurture customer relationships.
Prepare and deliver data-driven sales presentations using materials from the marketing and insights team.
Demonstrate expertise in driving business objectives within the sector.
Gather market and customer insights, analyze performance, and forecast trends to identify commercial growth opportunities.
Monitor and report sales performance, comparing actual vs. forecasted results, and take corrective actions when necessary.
Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and upselling of ingredients, developing tailored solutions for customers.
Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring compliance with agreements.
Build long-term, value-generating relationships with customers to drive increased sales and margins.
Oversee supply chain aspects for key accounts, including product inventory, stock aging analysis, and timely stock liquidation.
Partner with logistics and support teams to ensure smooth contract execution, inventory management, and resolution of issues related to stock, rejections, debtors, and payables.
Represent the company at external events, such as trade fairs, to achieve strategic goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
10+ years of experience in key account management and B2B sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior sales leadership role,
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently yet at a matrix level with marketing and R&D
Needs to possess a key analytical mind and be deadline-driven.
Good commercial acumen and ability to stay on top of the market on consumers' trends
Excellent customer relationship management
