Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Tasked with overseeing, leading, and coordinating requirements definition, quality
assurance, documentation, training, and post implementation review activities for
applications systems.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
 Oversees, leads, and coordinates requirements definition, quality assurance,
documentation, training, and post-implementation review activities for
applications systems
 Leads system implementation projects that involve minimal in-house
programming
 Supervises user support and problem analysis and resolution activities for
applications systems
 Directs activities of the section to meet targets and objectives
 Develops subordinates and ensures proper resource utilization
 Reviews and evaluates proposals for software package acquisitions
 Supervises the generation of ad-hoc and specially-handled production reports
 Updates system parameters of applications systems in production
 Supervises subordinates in user support and problem analysis and resolution
activities for applications systems
 Leads system implementation projects that involve minimal in-house
programming
 Mediates between users when conflicts arise
 Updates knowledge of relevant technology and software
 Performs other tasks that may be assigned by superior from time to time
PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKING
 Makes minor decisions related to the support system
MAJOR EXTERNAL CONTACTS (IF ANY)
 Service providers and vendors/suppliers
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR SPECIAL ABILITIES/SKILLS
 College Graduate, BS Computer Science, or any related course
 3 years IT work experience
 Proficient in English, both oral and written communications
 Has strong work ethics and positive working attitude
 Can be trusted with confidential matters/documents to which incumbent has
access to
 Very analytical, creative, systematic, organized and neat
 Ability to interpret/evaluate user requirements/systems proposals and determine
appropriate alternatives
 Ability to supervise/train subordinates including organizing, prioritizing,
scheduling work assignments
 Ability to manage projects
 Ability to analyze and resolve system problems and to coordinate hardware
and/or software solutions
 Ability to test procedures and applications systems
 Ability to communicate clear and accurate instructions on how to operate
applications systems
 Ability to develop and deliver presentations
 Ability to provide operational guidance and leadership to subordinates
 Ability to document and maintain records on projects and applications systems
 Ability to resolve conflicts and mediate between users and to work effectively with
a wide range of personalities in a diverse user community
 Ability to analyze information and to make logical conclusions
 Knowledge of relevant computer software and hardware
 Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
 Has strong work ethics and positive working attitude
 Can be trusted with confidential matters/documents to which incumbent has
access to
 Ability to grasp complex software, learn quickly and work within tight deadlines
