Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Electrical Supervisor to join our team in overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities for the electrical systems in our solar power plant. The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical installations meet the required standards, specifications, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment for the solar power plant.
Perform regular inspections of electrical works to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
Ensure electrical installations are carried out in accordance with the project design, drawings, and relevant local codes, including compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).
Conduct regular quality audits and assessments of electrical installations, identifying any deviations or defects and ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.
Review and verify electrical materials, tools, and equipment to ensure they meet the necessary quality standards and specifications before use.
Coordinate with other supervisors and contractors to ensure smooth and safe electrical installations.
Maintain accurate records of all quality control inspections, tests, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Supervise and train junior QA/QC engineers and technicians on quality control procedures and electrical safety standards.
Participate in site safety meetings and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
Ensure that electrical testing and commissioning procedures are conducted as per project requirements and in compliance with international standards.
Report regularly to the QA/QC Manager on quality-related issues and updates on electrical works progress.
Collaborate with the project team to resolve technical issues, ensuring the quality of work is maintained throughout the construction phase.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in electrical supervision or quality control in large-scale renewable energy projects, preferably solar power plants.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and installations in solar power projects.
Familiarity with quality management systems, and local and international standards related to electrical installations.
Experience in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
Knowledge of Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and relevant safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage and coordinate a team of technicians and engineers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English and Tagalog is preferred.

Additional Skills:
Knowledge of solar power systems and related electrical components is a plus.
Certification in Quality Assurance/Quality Control is a plus.
Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations for construction projects in the Philippines.

Working Conditions:
Based on-site at the solar power plant.
Occasional travel to project sites may be required.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
