Job Description
A Technical Specialist Lead performs a variety of complex information technology support duties to ensure smooth delivery of technology services. He monitors, operates, coordinates, assists, and trains others in the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals in order to achieve desired results.
Work Schedule - Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Office Location - Unit 20, The Arcade Building, Pajo, M.L. Quezon National Hi-Way, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s/ College Degree, in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any equivalent course
Proficient in computer hardware and software troubleshooting, and software installation.
Expert knowledge in different operating systems, with specific expertise in Windows and macOS and some familiarity with Linux.
Knowledgeable in advanced networking concepts (VLAN, Trunking, Routing, firewall configuration, VPN setup, etc.)
Proficient in IP Camera and NVR setup and configuration
Proficient in server handling, maintenance, and management, including basic operations of NAS systems.
Knowledgeable about basic cybersecurity principles.
Capable of handling network troubleshooting
Excellent interpersonal skills / Client-oriented
Fully committed to providing the highest possible standards of customer service and support
Self-starter; can be depended on to complete a task under minimal supervision
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client and System Management:
Organize computer users into their respective groupings (Antivirus, Active Directory, etc.).
Modify configurations, utilities, and software default settings for local workstations.
Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software as per client requests.
Maintain an inventory of all equipment, software, and licenses.
Monitoring/Reporting/Maintenance:
Daily monitoring of office network conditions (internet connection, VPN, company system, etc.).
Ensure IT requirements are met and service quality is maintained when introducing new services.
Implement and enforce security measures for IT systems, including regular updates, antivirus software, and user access controls.
Design and produce moderately complex reports.
Assist with complex technical projects.
Training and Implementation:
Lead the training of Technical Associates on tasks and their respective assigned clients.
Implement ATI Products and Services in coordination with the TechOps Supervisor.
Client Duties
Perform basic computer troubleshooting on clients' workstations.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to end users' satisfaction.
Configure, set up, and maintain PABX / VOIP System.
Configure, set up, and monitor NVR and IP Cameras for security and video review of recorded footage.
Daily checking and monitoring of office network conditions.
Provide feedback and recommendations based on system testing.
Perform tasks and duties as assigned by immediate superiors.
