Job Description

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and supporting financial decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Recordkeeping:
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by posting and verifying data.
Ensure proper classification of expenses, income, and other financial activities.
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
Maintain an organized filing system for invoices, receipts, and financial records.
Payroll & Tax Compliance:
Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
Calculate and process tax deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related adjustments.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, sales tax, and income tax reporting.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Generate profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other key financial documents.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
General Administrative Support:
Work closely with accountants and financial managers during audits and financial reviews.
Assist with inventory management and cost tracking, if required.
Support other administrative tasks related to financial operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of financial regulations and tax compliance.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with payroll processing and tax filing.
Familiarity with financial auditing processes.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Salary:
₱25,000.00 Monthly
