Job Description

You will lead and manage our Software quality assurance function and help maintain and
improve the quality of software products, development practices and client implementations.You
will be responsible to ensure our products are performing and scalable. This means, you will
create well-structured test plans and test cases and lead the testing activities for your team.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● Minimum of 5 years of management experience, overseeing a QA team with at least 6 direct reports.
● Strong experience in API testing and ETL processes, with the ability to guide
● team members on testing strategies for data integration, pipelines, and transformations.
● Hands-on experience with automation frameworks specifically for API and ETL testing.
● Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and
resolve issues related to API and ETL workflows.
● Solid understanding of SaaS-based applications and their unique testing requirements, with a focus on data
validation and integrity.
● Extensive knowledge of different data stores, databases, and big data technologies, including:
○ Cloud data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift,Google BigQuery, or Azure
SQL.
○ Traditional relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
○ NoSQL databases including MongoDB, Cassandra, or Elasticsearch.
○ Big data technologies and data lakes such as Hadoop, S3, Azure Data
○ Lake, or HDFS for large-scale data processing and storage.
Skills and competencies:
● Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on API and ETL testing.
● Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured,
● JMeter, or similar tools for API testing, along with tools for ETL testing and data validation.
● Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, particularly in API and
data flow validations.
● Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, with an understanding of how to integrate QA processes in
fast-paced development cycles.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex testing strategies and
results to senior stakeholders.
● Adaptability to changing priorities, with the ability to manage multiple projects related to API and ETL testing.
Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, including manual testers and automation engineers, with a
specific focus on API and ETL-related testing.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams—product management, development,
● customer support, and customer success—to ensure quality across the software development lifecycle.
● Oversee API and ETL testing efforts, ensuring thorough validation of data pipelines, transformations, and API
functionalities.
● Identify process improvement opportunities and implement strategies to enhance product quality, testing
efficiency, and team productivity.
● Provide hands-on expertise and deep understanding of API and ETL processes, guiding the team to ensure
complete and accurate testing coverage.
● Collaborate with the Automation and Tooling team to enhance automation frameworks specifically for API and
ETL testing, in addition to managing the execution of both automated and manual tests.
● Ensure high-quality testing of SaaS-based applications, maintaining industryleading standards for reliability
and performance.
● Oversee the creation, maintenance, and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
focused on API and ETL validation.
● Monitor key quality metrics and provide detailed reporting to senior management, including trends and areas
for improvement in API and ETL testing processes.
● Drive the adoption of QA best practices within the team, with a focus on automation, scalability, and
continuous improvement.
● Coach and mentor team members, providing professional development and guidance, fostering a career growth
in API and ETL Testing.

● Salary Budget: Php240,000/month gross monthly
● Shift Schedule:9am - 6pm
● Work Setup: Work From home
