Job Description
Classification: Locally Recruited Staff – Level 2
Report to: General Manager and President of the Company
Position Summary:
The Finance and Accounting Officer is responsible for preparing financial reports and maintaining records of assets, liabilities, revenue and expenditure, payments, and other financial activities. Conducts regular internal controls, preparation of the monthly accounts closure, and ensures disbursement of budgets. A person with the utmost experience in handling Accounts Reconciliation.
Develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with the following:
- Executive Directors
- All Official Staff
- Vendors/Contractors/Suppliers
- Customers/Clients
Roles and Responsibilities
- Finance and General Accounting;
- Reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations, preparing journal entries, preparing monthly closing and financial reports, preparing account/bank reconciliations;
- Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial-related issues;
Administrative
- Ensure proper and complete documentation and filing for easy retrieval of all accounting-related documents;
- Identify and provide feedback and suggestions to management related to improvements in procedures, processes, and financial systems;
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and President of the Company.
Education and Experience
- Postgraduate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
Qualifications and Technical Skill
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with QuickBooks and/or Peachtree is a plus but optional.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Salary:
- ₱25,000.00 Monthly
