Job Description
Work Location: Makati
Salary Range: ₱60,000 – ₱120,000
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Job Summary:
The Engineering & Service Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring efficient after-sales service, parts sales, contract negotiation, and inventory forecasting. This role involves customer liaison, service management, and team leadership to drive operational success.
Qualifications:
Engineering graduate, preferably a licensed Mechanical Engineer.
At least 10 years of managerial experience in HVAC, general equipment maintenance, and warranty management.
Knowledgeable in kitchen, laundry equipment, and air-conditioning systems.
Experience in after-sales service, parts sales, managing targets, contract negotiation, inventory forecasting, and accounts receivable management.
Strong customer service, negotiation, and presentation skills.
High proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Organizes, plans, and coordinates all after-sales activities of the department.
Prepares and/or reviews costing and selling prices to maximize contribution and win biddings.
Manages the credit and collection activities of the department, ensuring accounts receivable are paid.
Recruits and assigns qualified personnel to adequately cover customer service requests.
Works closely with customers’ installation and maintenance engineers until major equipment purchases are installed and commissioned.
Provides leadership in closing or finalizing sales negotiations and contracts.
Maintains close liaison with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
Prepares a summary of parts sales forecasts for the division.
Negotiates service contracts to support business growth.
Updates management on the progress of escalated service activities and acquires necessary approvals.
Assists in the formulation of short- and long-term planning, including the preparation of forecasts and other required reports.
