Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled eBay/Amazon Listing Specialist to manage and optimize product listings on these platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating, optimizing, and managing listings, ensuring accurate product representation, and maximizing visibility through effective SEO strategies. This role will drive online sales and customer engagement by maintaining top-notch listing quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Listing & Optimization:
Oversee the creation, management, and optimization of product listings across eBay, Amazon and all other eCommerce platforms.
Ensure product descriptions, titles, attributes, images, and pricing are accurate and optimized for search visibility and conversions.
Implement SEO best practices, including keyword research, backend keywords, and metadata optimization for higher rankings.
Collaborate with content and design teams to enhance product imagery and descriptions for a better user experience.
SEO & Marketplace Optimization:
Develop and execute strategies to improve organic search rankings and visibility on Amazon, Shopify, eBay, and other platforms.
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and A/B testing to refine product content and performance.
Stay updated with Amazon SEO, eBay SEO, Shopify SEO and other platforms and algorithm changes on each platform to ensure listings remain competitive.
Inventory & Compliance Management:
Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, ensuring accurate stock availability across platforms.
Work closely with supply chain and warehouse teams to synchronize inventory updates and minimize discrepancies.
Ensure all product listings meet marketplace compliance policies, avoiding violations, deactivations, or penalties.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track product performance metrics, including conversion rates, impressions, click-through rates, and overall sales.
Analyze customer reviews, Q&A sections, and returns data to improve product descriptions and optimize listings through eBay Seller Hub, Amazon Seller Central and other platforms.
Generate regular reports on listing performance and recommend improvements to enhance sales and visibility.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
Lead and manage the remote product listing team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely updates across all channels.
Train and mentor team members on listing optimization, SEO strategies, and marketplace policies.
Work closely with marketing, sales, and IT teams to align eCommerce strategies with business goals.
Requirements:
Proven experience in eCommerce product listing creation and management specifically eBay, Amazon, Shopify and other platforms.
Strong knowledge of SEO, keyword optimization, and marketplace algorithms.
Experience with inventory management and product data accuracy.
Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar SEO and analytics platforms.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the home furniture and kitchen appliances industry.
Advanced knowledge and experience in product listing and optimization for Amazon, eBay, Shopify, website and other e-commerce platforms
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for basic listing customizations.
Well-experienced with bulk listing tools and eCommerce automation software.
