Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks that ensure the quality and performance of our software products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing using Cypress, Selenium, Node, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with additional exposure to various testing tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts:
Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Cypress and Selenium.
Design and implement robust automation frameworks utilizing Node, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Collaboration and Integration:
Work closely with developers, QA teams, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software releases.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues to ensure product quality.
Collaborate with development teams to debug and resolve identified defects.
Documentation and Continuous Improvement:
Document test cases, automation scripts, and testing outcomes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices.
Tool and Technology Exploration:
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and tools in QA automation to enhance testing efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:

QA Automation Expertise:

Proven experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Cypress and Selenium.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong programming skills in Node, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Analytical Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Collaboration and Communication:
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical details clearly.
