Job Description
Conduct analysis on Business Requirements and prepares program specifications at the systems level for medium to complex systems or modules.
Design the appropriate system solution to satisfy the defined business requirements.
Develop or maintain, test and implement modules to complex programs according to system specifications.
Identify all possible scenarios and prepare tests for the systems under development.
Executes test plan during development and system testing and provides user acceptance testing or other testing support as required to ensure that the system processing reflects user requirements/designs.
Provides post-implementation and production support for systems including analysis of production problems.
Performs implementation activities such as program promotions, installation of the system, training, and tutorials for end users.
Performs development/update of the Users, Systems, and Operations Manual.
Provides updates and status reports to the project manager during the course of development and related support activities
Qualifications:
With Ingenium (System used in Sunlife) background
5 years or more in Cobol/Db2, Unix; programming, analysis & design, with testing experience
5 years of experience in SQL
5 years of experience in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) major tasks and deliverables
With basic systems analysis and design skills to appreciate Technical Specs documents
Must be familiar with Office Automation tools such as MS Office and Lotus Notes, preferably with knowledge in macro programming or report writer tools
Willing to work on weekends and holidays if necessary
