Job Description

Initial 3 months onsite, after 3 months hybrid setup

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: (Describes the results for which the position has an on-going accountability. Accountabilities are statements of the important end results, which the job needs to achieve to justify its existence. Each accountability statement should relate to a single end result which must be accomplished and to which some measurement of performance can be applied.)

Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Requirements:
● Prepares journal entries
● Prepares account reconciliations based on set timeline
● Assist the Senior Accountant in checking the closing transactions of assigned entities
● Assist the local business unit in preparing the annual budget and preliminary quarterly P&L Estimate consolidation. Perform preliminary checks on the net income
and balance sheet
● Validate the details of the annual budget and quarterly estimate details (Volume, Sales, Cost of Sales, IT, Selling & Marketing) provided by the entities
● Update and publish Estimate and Actual FS Reports for variance / deviation analysis
● Gather, prepare and analyze financial information and reports as may be requested by business users
● Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
● Gather information for the monthly BSC such as feedback received from customers and track timeliness of the delivery of reporting requirements
● Conduct self evaluation based on the PLP process.
● Support external audit requirements by providing detailed schedules and analyses required by the auditors and local finance. Attend to any audit inquiries as may be required in the process
● Other related duties which may be assigned by immediate superior

A. Internal – e.g., Immediate Supervisor, Immediate Subordinates, etc.
B. External – e.g., Consultants, applicants, customers, etc.

IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Must Have:
● Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Commerce, preferably CPA
● Minimum 2-3 years of previous work experience in a similar position.
● An experience with SAP AP / AR / GL Module
● Experience in SOX compliance
● Advanced skills in the use of MS Office application e.g. Excel Spreadsheets and Google applications
● Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done.
● Shifting schedules required e.g. Europe time as needed
● Good oral and written communication skills
