Sales Engineer - Trainee

A Sales Engineer -Trainee– is a a sales professional who specializes in understanding all of the technical aspects of a technical product and explaining them to potential consumers. Their duties include consulting on product development, explaining product features to customers.

Job Description:
✓ Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
✓ Support customer inquiries by fielding calls while being a source of information and problem solving to client satisfaction.
✓ Develop design alternatives when necessary and clearly communicate the reasons for the design alternatives.
✓ Prioritize and multitask during high volume periods and maintain customer parameters. ✓ Continuously communicate with the team to resolve customer needs and proactively manage workload.
✓ Propose final buy and competitive pricing to customers.
✓ Secure orders, guarantee product standard and assure product timely delivery. ✓ Establish customer rapport and acceptance
✓ Help clients to solve problems with product usage.
✓ Generate initial cost estimates for client inquiry in a timely manner.

Needed Skills
✓ No issue with domestic and regional travelling.
✓ Good communications skills
✓ Handles “pressure situations” with a professional demeanor
✓ Board Passer. Preferably a graduate of Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
✓ With good technical understanding of engineering technical drawings and metal fabrication.
✓ Experience in Sales/Marketing in the steel industry a big advantage.
✓ Fresh Graduate with excellent credentials is encouraged to apply.
