Job Description

The Finance Assistant Manager supports the finance department by overseeing financial operations, preparing reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting with strategic planning. The role involves financial analysis, team supervision, and collaboration with other departments to maintain financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances to provide insights.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial closing.
Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and financial planning.
2. Accounting & Compliance
Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
Ensure timely tax filings, VAT/GST submissions, and compliance with corporate tax requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
3. Budgeting & Cost Control
Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial projections.
Monitor actual expenses against budgets and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
Support cash flow management and working capital optimization.
4. Financial Analysis & Business Strategy
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Assist in investment analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
Provide financial insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.
5. Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
Supervise junior finance staff and provide guidance on financial matters.
Work closely with other departments (e.g., HR, Procurement, Sales) to align financial goals.
Communicate financial insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Mandatory).
MBA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA qualification (Preferred but not required).
Experience:
3-5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
Prior experience with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.).
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of financial analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Understanding of tax regulations, corporate finance, and risk management.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Team leadership and mentoring experience.

Work Environment & Salary
Work Location: Office-based, hybrid, or remote (depending on company policies).
Reporting To: Finance Manager, CFO, or Senior Finance Executive.
Salary Range: Varies by industry and location but typically falls between $50,000 - $90,000 per year.
Salary:
₱60,000.00 Monthly
