Senior Tax (Cebu)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax with a strong tax background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing tax advice, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and payments, and preparing tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive tax advice and support to different departments of the company and groups of companies on various tax matters, including corporate tax, VAT, and Withholding Tax.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other required documentation.
- Liaise with external advisors and managing tax audits.
- Review tax provisions and estimations in accordance with relevant tax regulations.
- Prepare the monthly tax reporting.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Taxation, Law, Finance or related field.
- A professional qualification (e.g., CPA in Taxation) would be a plus.
- Min 5 years of experience in tax advisory in a company or tax advisory firm.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including corporate tax and VAT.
- Proven experience in managing tax compliance.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
