Procurement Associate

We’re looking for a Procurement Associate who can help us optimize our inventory and production process. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or production environment and be familiar with MRP/ERP systems. They will be able to identify opportunities for improvement and work with the team to implement changes.
Material Planner Responsibilities:
Research and analyze suppliers, products, and plans to identify cost and logistics issues
Coordinate with relevant departments and suppliers, and make recommendations for improvement
Create and update vendor and material lists, and update database with product specs and quantities
Maintain and update BOMs (Bill of Materials) in all systems
Assign, monitor, and delegate materials-related work
Conduct inventory counts as needed
Determine material needs for projects and oversee their procurement
Update inventory and procurement systems
Assist in various training and orientation programs
Assist with safety programs and protocols
Perform special projects as assigned
