Job Description
Responsibilities
Monitor accounts: Keep track of clients' accounts and identify overdue balances
Make collection calls: Contact clients with past due balances and negotiate payment plans
Resolve issues: Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues like incorrect billing or lost invoices
Prepare reports: Create and submit reports to the accounting department
Communicate with clients: Respond to customer questions and complaints
Train staff: Mentor and develop employees in the collection department
Maintain records: Keep accurate records of open accounts and payments
Qualifications
A business degree, such as in accounting or business management
Basic to intermediate math skills
Strong computer skills, especially in Excel
Good communication skills
Experience in accounting software
