Qualifications & experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Accounting Technician/Internal Audit/Information Technology/Any computer related background.
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience specializing in Audit, in retail industry in similar duties.
With willingness to travel/roving.
Tasks & responsibilities

Fieldwork

Collects and gathers reliable, useful, sufficient and relevant evidence to substantiate each audit finding using the guidelines in conducting internal audits.
Reporting and Follow-up

Schedules Audit Exit meeting with SOM and concerned personnel and discusses all observations, recommendation and timelines of agreed action plan for implementation;
Engagement Planning and Pre-Audit (Fieldwork Preparations)
Assists in ascertaining that the audit checklist is complete and up to date;
Conducts pre-audit at head office through gathering of documents on the identified transactions of the covered audit area at concerned departments.
Checks and evaluates store compliance with the standard operating procedures and established company policies guided by the compliance audit checklist made;
Prepares draft report based on gathered information and evidence;
Checks implementation of immediately acted observations;
Finalizes draft report, working papers, and minutes of the meeting and send to assigned TL for review based on agreed prescribed period of submission.
