Job Description
Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
Monitoring and analyzing market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Managing the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier information, contracts, and purchase orders.
Conducting supplier evaluations and audits to assess compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
Resolving any issues or disputes with suppliers, including quality concerns, delivery delays, or pricing discrepancies.
Keeping abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement to enhance the company's procurement capabilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
