Maintenance Planner (Caloocan)

A maintenance planner develops and manages maintenance plans to ensure that an organization's equipment is running smoothly. They work to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, and to extend the life of assets.
Responsibilities
Plan and schedule maintenance: Create and assign work orders for maintenance tasks, including corrective and preventive maintenance
Manage resources: Order parts and supplies, and manage inventory levels
Coordinate with others: Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and machine operators to determine optimal maintenance schedules
Train employees: Teach employees how to use the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Coordinate shutdowns: Plan and coordinate plant-wide shutdowns
Track costs: Monitor costs associated with repairs and replacements
Analyze data: Use machinery performance data to inform maintenance plans
Establish relationships: Build strong relationships with key functions in the organization
Skills and traits
Knowledge of the machines being used in the facility
Ability to work around hazardous chemicals and exposure to dust
Ability to work in and be exposed to outside weather elements
Ability to work day, afternoon, evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
