Job Description
We seek a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer Lead to join our team. As a ServiceNow Developer Lead, you will lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that ServiceNow platforms meet business requirements while ensuring system stability, scalability, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand and define project requirements.
Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance, technical expertise, and best practices.
Oversee the design and implementation of ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, Asset Management, CMDB, and more.
Customize ServiceNow forms, workflows, UI pages, and other components to meet customer-specific needs.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, including appropriate design patterns and reusable components.
Collaborate with the ServiceNow platform administrators to ensure seamless integration between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
Lead the implementation of ServiceNow integrations with external systems using web services, REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
Work with the QA team to develop and execute unit tests, functional tests, and regression tests to ensure the quality of delivered solutions.
Ensure proper documentation is created and maintained for custom applications, workflows, and system configurations.
Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, enhancements, and best practices to propose continuous improvements for the platform.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing support to both development and operational teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
4 years of experience with ServiceNow development and 2+ years in a leadership role.
Expertise in ServiceNow platform features, modules, and development tools, including scripting (JavaScript), Flow Designer, and Service Portal.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, application development, and integration methods.
Experience in building ServiceNow integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, and MID Server.
Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and other ServiceNow modules.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
Ability to lead and mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is preferred.
Experience in ServiceNow custom app development and advanced scripting.
Experience with ServiceNow performance tuning and optimization.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and ITIL processes.
