About the Job:
The Senior System Administrator and AWS Administrator is a dual-role position that involves managing and maintaining an organization’s on-premises systems and cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires deep expertise in server and network administration, AWS services, and infrastructure automation to ensure the seamless performance, security, and scalability of IT systems.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in system administration, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.

Technical Skills
System Administration:
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Expertise in storage solutions (SAN, NAS) and backup technologies.
AWS Administration:
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
- Familiarity with AWS CLI, SDKs, and APIs.
- Experience with cloud security and IAM policies.
- Proficiency in cost management and optimization techniques.
Automation and Scripting:
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
Networking:
- Strong understanding of networking principles, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, and DNS.
Certifications (Preferred):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional).
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Microsoft Certified
