Inventory Specialist

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
Conduct regular inventory counts (cycle counts and full physical inventory).
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Update inventory management systems with accurate and up-to-date information.
Reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
Coordinate with the distribution team to ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
Verify that outgoing shipments match customer orders and invoices.
Ensure proper documentation for all inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
Ensure proper storage and organization of goods for easy accessibility and safety.
Perform routine inspections of storage areas to maintain cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
Provide regular inventory status updates to management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
At least 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics.
Experience in a distribution company is preferred.
Proficiency in inventory management software (ECOUNT) is a plus.
Excellent in Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements:
Valid driver’s license (if required for vehicle operation).
Forklift operation certification is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move items as needed in a warehouse setting.
Willingness to travel between distribution hubs or client locations if necessary.
