GitTat is searching for an ambitious Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives for a top-tier cloud infrastructure provider. The ideal candidate will focus on forging relationships with startups and government agencies, engaging with senior executives like CTOs, VPs, and founders to promote our client’s cutting-edge cloud solutions. This role combines cold outreach, strategic networking, and partnership development within the startup ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach:
- Proactively reach out to startups and government agencies to identify new opportunities for the client’s cloud platform.
- Conduct cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to connect with key decision-makers.
- Develop a robust pipeline of leads through consistent engagement and follow-ups.

Engagement with Senior Executives:
- Build relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers in the startup ecosystem.
- Understand startup needs and align solutions to address scalability, cost-efficiency, and performance.
- Lead meetings and calls to present tailored cloud solutions.

Collaboration with Government Agencies:
- Build partnerships with government bodies supporting startups (e.g., Enterprise Singapore, IMDA).
- Leverage government programs to drive cloud adoption among startups.

Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Collaborate with sales teams to create customized strategies for startup clients.
- Align outreach efforts with sales goals, communicating the client’s value proposition effectively.

Networking & Relationship Building:
- Attend industry events to strengthen relationships and increase brand awareness.
- Position the client as a trusted partner in the startup ecosystem.

Sales Process & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of outreach activities using CRM tools.
- Provide actionable insights and progress reports to management.

Skills & Experience

Tech Sales / Business Development Experience:
- 3+ years in sales or business development, preferably in the cloud computing or SaaS sectors.
- Proven ability to navigate long sales cycles and engage senior decision-makers.

Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge:
- Exposure to platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Ability to communicate the benefits of cloud solutions effectively.

Startup Ecosystem Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Singapore’s startup landscape and government initiatives.
- Awareness of startup-specific challenges such as scaling infrastructure.

Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and networking abilities.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple campaigns.
