Job Description

Position Title: GENERAL MANAGER (General Merchandise)

Role Purpose:

Drive profitability and growth by effectively managing operations, leading teams, and fostering a customer-centric culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to achieve business goals, adapting to market dynamics.
Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency in inventory, logistics, and customer service.
Finance: Manage budgets, analyze financial data, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
Sales & Marketing: Drive sales growth through effective marketing, competitive pricing, and strong customer relationships.
Team Leadership: Build and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to laws and regulations, proactively mitigating risks.
Reporting To: Company Owner

Job Specifications:

Experience: 5+ years in senior management (Philippine retail/wholesale), managing a multi-faceted operation.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. MBA preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the local retail landscape and consumer behavior.
Languages: Fluent in English and Filipino. Bisaya proficiency is highly advantageous.
Skills: Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
