Job Description

Draftsman - Revit Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman to join our team specializing in high-end residential construction. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit, have expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), and be familiar with Australia- New South Wales (NSW) standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed architectural drawings using Revit.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to deliver high-quality designs.
Ensure compliance with NSW standards, codes, and regulations in all projects.
Utilize BIM to develop and manage project models effectively.
Prepare detailed layouts and technical drawings for high-end residential projects.
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand design requirements and provide innovative solutions.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Qualifications:
Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Revit and other CAD software.
Strong understanding of BIM workflows.
Knowledge of NSW building codes and standards.

Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably in high-end residential construction.

Skills:
Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and project teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:
Experience in Australian construction industry practices.
Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy-efficient design.
