Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of any of the following courses:
Technical Writing, English, Communications, Journalism or related fields;
Must have at least 2 years relevant experience;
A Technical Writing certificate is an advantage;
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Must have organizational and time-management skills;
Must be proficient in MS Office applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and maintain user manuals, system documentation, API documentation, and help guides for technical products and services.
Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
Analyse existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
Create and maintain the information architecture
Do self-training on new versions of the products
Join internal trainings and product demonstrations
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.
Edit and proofread documentation for clarity, grammar, style, and consistency.
Develop and maintain internal & external knowledge bases, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
Ensure all documentation aligns with company standards, branding guidelines, and technical requirements.
Work with the product and engineering teams to document new features and updates.
Continuously improve documentation based on user feedback and industry best practices.
Proficiency in using documentation management tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Confluence).
