Job Description
the entire Modern Trade Team in managing purchase orders and invoices tagged under them. The
Modern Trade Sales Admin Assistant will also verify customer information, issue invoices, relay
order instructions, and generate and complete sales reports as per the needs of the business.
To ensure success, the Modern Trade Sales Admin Assistant should have experience in a sales
environment and advanced administrative skills that understand sales performance metrics and
provide excellent administrative support.
Job Responsibilities
• Processes orders via email or phone.
• Checks data accuracy in orders and invoices.
• Compiles and updates physical or digital files on clients, leads, expenses, and sales. They
may deliver reports on things such as backlogged items and monitor inventory.
• Contacts clients to obtain missing information or answer queries.
• Liaises with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintains and updates sales and customer records.
• Develops/generates monthly sales reports as per the needs of the business.
• Communicates important feedback from customers internally.
• Ensures sales targets are met and report any deviations.
• Stays up-to-date with new products and features.
• Expedites orders through internal liaison.
• Directs feedback from customers to relevant departments.
• Supports the sales department, particularly Modern Trade, with other administrative tasks,
if requested.
Job Requirements
• Degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales, Distribution, or a relevant field
• At least three years of experience in a relevant position obtained from an FMCG company.
• Familiarity with field sales and market.
• Proficient in SAP and other software tool
• Passion for growth and strong time management skills to work in a changeable
environment.
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Aptitude in problem-solving.
• Desire to work as a team with a result-driven and data-guided approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Amenable to onsite work and shifting schedule.
