Job Description
The Payroll specialist ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, including pre-funding requirements and final pay calculations. - Responsibilities include verifying time records, generating payroll reports, and conducting audits of deductions. The role also involves administering benefits for maternity, sickness, and Employee Retirement Plans (ERP), as well as managing government remittances and COOP deductions. Strong attention to detail and collaboration with HR and finance teams are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management courses
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skill
- Experienced with SAP and HRIS system
- Experienced in handling withholding tax and annualization
- With 2-4 years of work experience handling Payroll and with Accounting background
JOB SPECIFICATION:
- Generate payroll reports and make necessary adjustments.
- Conduct audits thoroughly by reconciling deductions with government remittances and maintaining records of unclaimed payroll.
- Process Final Pay
- Validate computations by reviewing and ensuring all deductions are included.
- Oversee the administration of benefits processing for maternity, sickness, funeral assistance, and Employee Retirement Plans (ERP), ensuring all relevant documentation is accurately collected and submitted.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, withholding, benefits, and final pay, providing clear and timely responses.
