Job Description

Critical Accountabilities
1 – Actuarial data analytics and research
• Develop and deploy statistical models and programs for actuarial research
• Support business operations with statistical analyses
• Preparation of monthly reports on policyholder behavior (e.g., persistency, premium holiday, redemption) and business efficiency (e.g., expense overruns)
• Work with other departments to implement operational actions identified through statistical studies
• Preparation of formal papers on relevant studies
• Presentation/communication of key findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and senior management
• Examples of studies include predictive modeling for persistency, predictive pricing for commercial business, industry analyses, and KPI correlation studies
2 – Reinsurance strategy and optimization studies
• Perform studies as basis for strategies on reinsurance arrangements by testing new structures, aiming to maintain above-standard solvency ratio and optimize the risk-reward balance of risk transfer
• Preparation of formal papers on relevant studies pertaining to reinsurance strategy
• Presentation/communication of key findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and senior management

• Produce high-quality reports and analytics documentations and provide analyses, interpretation and commentaries.
