Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support dental professionals during procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure patient comfort, maintain clinical efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety in the dental practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist patients before, during, and after dental treatments, ensuring comfort and safety.
2. Provide clear pre- and post-treatment instructions, explaining procedures and dental hygiene practices.
3. Prepare treatment rooms and set up necessary equipment and instruments.
4. Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
5. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
6. Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
7. Ensure compliance with infection control and clinical safety standards.
8. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing treatment follow-ups.
9. Handle phone inquiries, file patient records, and support office staff as needed.
10. Monitor and manage inventory levels of dental supplies and instruments.
11. Place orders to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
