Injection Technician (Laguna)

An injection technician, also known as an injection molding process technician, is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of injection molding equipment and materials:
Set up and operate: Set up and operate injection molding machines, including installing dies, setting controls, and loading materials
Troubleshoot: Troubleshoot issues with the equipment, materials, or production process, such as inconsistent material or faulty equipment
Maintain: Perform daily maintenance and inspections on the equipment and systems
Ensure quality: Ensure that the injection-molded components meet specifications and quality standards
Communicate: Communicate issues with engineers and other QA technicians
Train: Train and coach machine operators to ensure they are following proper procedures
Document: Document processes and procedures, and make changes to improve cycle times
Inspect: Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer specifications
Work with production: Work with production personnel to ensure molded parts meet requirements
Injection technicians need specialized knowledge of materials, tools, and equipment, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. They also need to be able to work cooperatively with others and maintain a positive attitude.
