Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Graduate of Bookkeeping in Tesda
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or At least 2 years experience in Accounting / Financing
Key Responsibilities:
Recording Transactions
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, such as purchases, sales, payments, and receipts.
Record all financial transactions in the company's accounting software.
Managing Accounts
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.
Monitor accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Process payroll and employee reimbursements.
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
Generate reports to help management make informed decisions.
General Ledger Maintenance
Ensure that all accounts are balanced and posted correctly to the general ledger.
Maintain the company’s chart of accounts and ensure accurate allocation of expenses and income.
Tax Compliance
Ensure that all tax-related documents, including VAT, income tax, and other local taxes, are accurately prepared.
Assist with preparing tax filings and reports as required by tax authorities.
Invoice Management
Issue invoices to customers, track payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
Ensure that all invoices are recorded properly in the accounting system.
Financial Audits
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial data.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Help create budgets and provide ongoing monitoring and analysis to ensure spending aligns with financial goals.
