Job Description

Job summary:

The Inventory Supervisor is jointly responsible with the RSC Receiving personnel for the receiving, maintenance and safekeeping of the merchandise in the warehouse. His/her main responsibility is to ensure that the merchandise is ready and accessible for the pick pack operations. The Inventory Supervisor will be provided with Warehouse Staff to perform all inventory-related activities. He/she reports directly to the Warehouse Operations

Key responsibilities:

Receiving
Ensures that all deliveries are accurate and in good condition (no damaged, spoiled or dented items). Variances and damages are reported
Coordinates with the RSC Receiving Personnel in receiving the items
Securing of necessary receiving documents
Coordinates with the Supply Team on the merchandise deliveries
Putaway & Storage
Proper handling of merchandise from receiving to storage
Ensures that deliveries are unloaded safely and that merchandise are stacked and stored efficiently in their storage locations
Ensures that storage areas are well-organized to reduce risk of misplacing, losing, and damaging items
Replenishment
Ensures timely replenishment of stocks in picking area
Inventory Management System and Cycle Count
Recommends systematic planning of replenishment with the RSC Receiving Personnel, thus ensuring adequate stocking at all times
SKU Rationalization - recommendation of non-performing SKUs for suggestive selling / deletion
Facilitates and ensures accuracy of cycle count and all related inventory activities
Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained
Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to Growsari Supply Team
Manage all inventory transactions and provide required feedback to team as required
Initiates cycle count and inventory activities and ensure consistency and accuracy and identify all operational problems in inventory
Does the necessary stock correction for the approval of the Warehouse Operations Manager
Coordinate with RSC in keeping appropriate records and reports to guarantee tight inventory control and security
Inventory Handling
Ensures proper maintenance of merchandise based on planogram
Ensures that all fixtures and merchandise are well-maintained at all times
Monitor and analyze stock movements and replenishment details
Ensures that the First to Expire, First Out principle is followed
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
Return to Vendor
Coordinate with RSC to process merchandise that are for return to vendor
Ensures that all damaged items that whose damage were not caused by Growsari are returned completely and promptly
Knowledge, skills and experience requirements:

Tech savvy. Eager to learn new systems and apps specific to Growsari’s needs
Must possess skills in people management, team building, and communication.
Possess analytical and basic mathematical skills
Is eager to learn new skills and continuously improve oneself
Is willing to work extended hours if necessary
Is impact-driven and want to make a positive impact to the lives of Sari Sari store owners; ultimately playing a role in bridging the income inequality gap in the Philippines
Have a problem solver attitude - and are able to get things done and meet your deliverables while keeping the bigger picture in mind
Qualifications, certifications and education requirements:

Responsibilities:

Bachelors degree holder
Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google Drive products
Solid knowledge of inventory and quality control
Warehouse location : Central Square Bldg. Imelda Roces Ave. Alternate Rd. Cruzada Legazpi City

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php17,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
