Job Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding the client’s customer base within the US technology market. Your focus will be on generating new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and guiding prospects through the sales cycle. A strong Salesforce background is essential, as you will be responsible for leveraging the platform to manage accounts and optimize sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies using cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn to identify and qualify leads in the US technology market.
- Salesforce Management: Utilize Salesforce to manage customer relationships, track sales pipeline, and report on sales activities. Ensure the - CRM is updated with accurate and timely information.
- Pipeline Development: Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities by maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Teams: Work closely with internal teams to share market insights, improve lead quality, and refine outreach strategies.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify new business opportunities, stay informed on market trends, and develop personalized outreach strategies for prospective clients.
- Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate forecasts of new opportunities, conversion rates, and potential revenue streams.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management, preferably in the technology sector.
- Salesforce Expertise: Proficiency in Salesforce CRM for managing accounts, tracking sales activities, and generating reports.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding of the US technology market and its key players.
- Proactive: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote work environment.
- Cultural Awareness: Familiarity with working in the US market and understanding its cultural nuances.
