Job Description

 Assist the Group Services Superintendent in the organization, planning, scheduling, implementation, monitoring and control of shipyards relative to the group’s activities undertaken by the production department.

2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

2.1 Supervises the preparation of dry docks.

2.2 Supervises the day to day work operation of 3 to 4 subordinates first line supervisors and through them a working force of 20-45 semi skilled and skilled position performing line work normally assigned to the subordinate components.

2.3 Directly responsible in the multiple dry-docking of crafts on AFDM-5 and AFDL 21.

2.4 Coordinates with immediate supervisors and docking officer during actual docking and undocking of ships.
2.5 In charge of the wood working shop in the fabrication of dry docking blocks and other wood works.
2.6 Supervises the PMS of shop’s woodworking machineries and minor equipment.

3.0 EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

3.1 Education:
 Graduate of vocational course and/or Engineering related courses

3.2 Experience:
 At least 3-10 years supervisory related experience in a shipyard industry.

3.3 Others:
 Good communication and personal relation skills
 Computer literate
