Job Description
Position Summary:
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for analyzing and improving production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure smooth operations in a food manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and optimize production workflows and layout
Conduct time-and-motion studies and recommend improvements
Monitor production performance and efficiency indicators
Develop and implement process improvement and cost-saving strategies
Assist in production planning and capacity analysis
Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, and other departments for operational improvements
Ensure compliance with food safety and manufacturing standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP)
Qualifications:
Graduate of BS in Industrial Engineering
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably food-related)
Proficient in data analysis, process documentation, and MS Excel
Knowledge in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is an advantage
Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills
Willing to work onsite and on shifting schedules
