Logistics Supervisor

Main Responsibility/Purpose of the Position: The Logistics Dispatcher, who reports directly to the Vice President, will be part of the team that will handle the timely and cost-effective deliveries and pick-ups related to the distribution of construction materials, tools and equipment to the designated project located as required. This includes the process of orders and oversees the cycle of order fulfillment. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distributions.

Responsibilities:

Ensures accurate and timely dispatching of materials and manages inventory according to established policies and procedures.
Coordinates with Warehouse, Fabrication and project sites of any construction materials, tools and equipment and executes dispatch activities based on plans and available order system.
Ensures accuracy of delivery of all orders based on the approved requests from project sites within the agreed deadline for efficient and cost effective deliveries.
Works hand-in-hand with the Warehouse/Fabrication/project sites to make sure that routing schedules are accordingly planned.
Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
Coordinates with Project-in-charge of the status of requested deliveries.
Secure documents ( trip ticket plan purchase order, delivery receipts and pull-out forms and other special instructions) availability prior to dispatch of delivery trucks.
Monitors and oversees Drivers’ itineraries, absences, undertime, leaves and others.
Receives transmission of signed documents from deliveries, pullouts and other related deliveries.
Assists the operations in implementing and updating logistics management policies.
Assists in drafting process-improvement policies to be implemented within the team and across the company.
Maximize utilization of trucks in the most cost-effective way.
Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
Submits accomplishment reports (daily, weekly as needed) for all concerns related to deliveries.
Assists the company in any vehicle’s application or license renewals as required.
