Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
· Define and execute testing strategies to ensure the system meets functional and performance requirements.
· Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and locations. Including onsite testing activities and rectification works.
· Review and analyse system specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
· Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis.
· Monitor debugging process results to ensure resolution of defects.
· Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
· Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality is integrated at every stage.
· Lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes to manage changes and ensure minimal disruption to services.
· Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven work experience in software quality assurance, leadership role is a plus.
· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
· Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
· Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
· Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
· Familiarity with ticketing or fare collection systems is a plus.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
