Purchasing Assistant – Job Post

As our Purchasing Assistant, you will be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain operations. This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the company's operational needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. You will also have the unique opportunity to collaborate with various departments to understand their requirements, maintain supplier relationships, and monitor inventory levels.

Responsibilities:

-Procurement Support: Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services, ensuring the best value and quality.
-Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to inform purchasing decisions.
-Supplier Relations: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of products.
-Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align purchasing strategies with promotional activities and product launches.

Skills and Qualifications:

-Education: Graduate of bachelor’s degree in business management or any business-related courses.
-Experience: At least 1-year experience in Purchasing role.
-Skills: Excellent in verbal and written communication skills, with analytical and problem-solving, strong organizational skills and decision-making, has time management, attention to detail and accuracy, able to work independently and part of a team.
-Required Knowledge: Advanced / Microsoft excel skills, strong business acumen.
-Willing to work in Cubao, Quezon City.
