Job Description
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering with a focus on data modeling. (Non negotiable)
- Expertise in designing and implementing data models for relational and non-relational databases. (Non negotiable)
- Proficiency in SQL, and experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases. (Non negotiable)
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration techniques. (Non Negotiable)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with over 10 years of proven expertise in data engineering and strong proficiency in data modeling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of data infrastructure, ensuring high quality, performance, and reliability. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques to support the organization's data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration, transformation, and loading from various sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data models and structures.
- Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security to ensure compliance and integrity of the data infrastructure.
- Optimize and tune database systems and queries for performance and scalability.
- Lead and mentor junior data engineers, providing guidance and expertise in data engineering best practices.
