IT Business Analyst (Can start ASAP)

d. Health & life insurance background a major plus
e. Experienced in Business requirements specification, software testing and test management
f. Candidates with knowledge, relevant or familiarity with Insurance Project.

Qualifications
1. Graduate of Information Management or related courses
2. 3 to 4 years’ experience as Business Analyst. (Non negotiable)
3. Experience in life/health insurance for 3 to 4 years a plus.
4. Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations. (Non negotiable)
5. Experience in process mapping (current state/future state) (Non negotiable)
6. Experience in data flow mapping (Non negotiable)
7. Experience in process improvement/engineering will be an advantage (Non negotiable)
8. High level of competency with Office Productivity Tools (MS 365, Visio) (Non negotiable)
9. Computer System Literacy – Intermediate to Advance (Non negotiable)
10. Can start ASAP

Job Description
Job Purpose: Help business implement technology solutions by determining the requirements of a project or program, communicate them clearly to all stakeholders, facilitators and partners and provide support all throughout the System Development Life Cycle.

Business Requirement Analysis
a. Liaise with relevant users on the scope & requirements that can be grouped into features for ballpark estimation during the Demand Categorization Process
b. Lead requirement gathering analysis process and engage with business users, solution architects and delivery team to document, review and edit business requirements (BRS) for IT Solutioning
c. Prioritize and maintain “Requirements Clarification Log” and “Traceability Matrix” for complex projects.
d. Liaise with relevant users on the UAT plans and test cases preparation.
e. Conduct system test results verification, sampling review prior to releasing system for UAT
f. Act as the IT coordinator to lead the users on the execution of user acceptance test and deployment / implementation activities
g. Facilitate the communication between IT, testers and business stakeholders to ensure all have a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
h. Provide support and coordination between IT, vendor or supplier and business representatives throughout the system development life cycle.
i. Output: Signed off BRS, Requirements Clarification Log, Traceability Matrix, Test Plan, UAT Signoff and User Manual (Functional)

Quality Assurance
a. Ensure compliance with all/IT governance activities during business requirements, QA and Post Implementation stage.
b. Output: Accomplished QA Checklist, SIT, UAT, DVT, IVT

Service Reliability
a. Conduct post implementation verification testing to ensure that changes or new systems are implemented to production per requirements.
b. Collate feedback on system bugs and performance issues and submit them to IT for resolution
c. Monitor implemented systems and identify areas for improvement
d. Output: Register of Issues/bugs and status

Change and Issues Management
a. Effective management of change requests and issues raised during the project build to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget and according to agreed quality standards
