IT Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
1. System Design and Implementation:
• Design, install, and configure complex IT systems, including servers, storage, and network devices.
• Ensure system performance through proactive system monitoring and tuning.

2. System Maintenance and Support:
• Manage and maintain servers (Windows, Linux), storage solutions, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and address performance bottlenecks.
• Provide support for hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

3. Network and Security Management:
• Configure and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and other network services.
• Ensure system security through regular updates, patches, and implementing security protocols.
• Implement disaster recovery and backup procedures to safeguard company data.

4. Cloud Management:
• Deploy, manage, and support cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Collaborate with the development team to optimize cloud resources for scalability and performance.

5. Troubleshooting and Support:
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support to resolve escalated issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system failures or security incidents.

6. Documentation and Reporting:
• Create and maintain system documentation, including network diagrams, user manuals, and operational procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on system performance, usage, and potential improvements.

7. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with IT Manager, developers, and stakeholders to ensure systems meet business needs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Preferred Skills:
 Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or Az Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
 Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
 Familiar with: Windows Server, Centos, Redhat, Debian, DNS and DHCP Maintenance, DMZ Implementation, Disaster Recovery (VM, Physical Servers, Network)
