Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration, transformation, and loading from various sources
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data models and structures.
Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security to ensure compliance and integrity of the data infrastructure.
Optimize and tune database systems and queries for performance and scalability.
Lead and mentor junior data engineers, providing guidance and expertise in data engineering best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of professional experience in data engineering with a focus on data modeling.
Expertise in designing and implementing data models for relational and non-relational databases.
Proficiency in SQL, and experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
