Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Services Management:
- Oversee all aspects of IT services, including desktop support, systems, networks, telephony, and programming.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for data processing and system operations.
- Collaborate with managers and directors to define system requirements, specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Recruit, lead, and manage IT staff and contractors responsible for computer systems, networks, and telecommunications operations.
- Provide training and coaching to IT personnel, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
2. Technology Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Lead the IT team in ensuring maximum accessibility of all technologies within the site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues promptly.
- Maintain logs for required repairs and maintenance.
- Recommend technology resources for purchase.
- Research potential technologies and services.
- Monitor technology security and advise staff on security status or breaches.
- Ensure the implementation of lockout programs to protect systems.
3. New Line of Business (LOB) and Expansion Deployments:
- Develop plans and designs for network, systems, electrical, and technical infrastructure.
- Lead the implementation of network, systems, and electrical infrastructures for new projects and facilities.
4. Personnel and Performance Management:
- Conduct staff meetings and provide necessary tools to improve IT services.
- Lead communication initiatives to foster teamwork and drive performance.
- Encourage feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
- Prepare and conduct performance reviews.
- Promote continuous professional development through training, knowledge-sharing, and documentation of best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer-Related Technology or equivalent experience in management information systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
