Job Description

SOS is an Australian-owned BPO with branches in Makati and Cavite, looking to hire a Social Media Specialist to join the pioneering team in the Philippines for our client, a multinational Digital Agency. The successful candidates must be willing to work onsite.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to our marketing team’s core service offerings with your exceptional content
writing skills:
○ Collaborate on new campaign concepts
○ Build and lead social media strategies
○ Evolve and develop tone of voice guidelines for new and existing accounts


Bring your combined social media smarts and passion to a range of exciting brands:
○ Manage the social media calendars by curating and creating engaging posts for
Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, including reels and stories
○ Implement social/customer engagement strategies across social platforms,
optimizing the type of content to deliver impactful results
○ Interact with the audience across all social touchpoints, responding to
comments/questions and helping build brand trust
○ Bring a level of consideration and understanding when assessing whether the
client needs social media management, influencer partnerships, or paid support
○ Work closely with the social media team to share the latest best practices
○ An additional advantage is having experience working with brand ambassadors
or influencers

● Put your data hat on, and geek out while:
○ Taking ownership of social media tracking for reports
○ Looking for ways to streamline and automate the reporting process
○ Confidently communicating insights, learnings, and recommendations, speaking
to the positives and negatives of each published post
○ Making data-driven decisions with a test and learn mindset, a little A/B testing
goes a long way!

Qualifications:

● 2 years experience in a Social Media role
● Prior experience within an agency environment
● A strong work ethic driven by creative passion, positive energy and thrives on challenges
● Organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet
tight deadlines.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
● Ability to communicate (written and verbal) at all levels (executives, business and technology
leadership, project teams, peers)
● Exceptional attention to detail
● Self-starter in daily tasks; works well independently and as part of the team.
