Supply Chain Officer

Job description

Procurement and Sourcing: Identifying and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the procurement of necessary materials, both food and non-food items, at the right cost and quality.

Logistics Management: Coordinating the transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipment of products, and managing logistics partners.

Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels, ensuring that the company maintains adequate inventory to meet demand without overstocking, and overseeing warehousing operations.

Supplier Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring that suppliers meet quality, timing, and cost expectations.

Demand Planning: Working with other departments (such as sales and marketing) to forecast demand and ensure that supply levels meet future needs.

Cost Management: Managing budgets for supply chain activities, finding ways to reduce costs, and optimizing procurement and logistics processes.

Compliance: Ensuring that the entire supply chain follows regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards (especially for sensitive industries like food).

Risk Management: Identifying potential disruptions in the supply chain (e.g., supplier issues, shipping delays) and creating contingency plans.

Pay: From Php18,000.00 per month
