Job Description
2. Water Quality Monitoring: Assist in conducting regular monitoring of ground and surface water quality. Follow established protocols for sample collection, preservation, and analysis. Use appropriate testing equipment and techniques to measure various water quality parameters.
3. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and record water quality data accurately and consistently. Assist in analyzing data to assess water quality trends, identify potential issues, and make recommendations for appropriate actions or interventions.
4. Compliance and Reporting: Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant water quality regulations and permits. Support the preparation of water quality reports and other documentation required by regulatory agencies. Provide data and information as needed for compliance reporting purposes.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, hydrology, water resources, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in environmental management or sustainability roles.
• Previous experience or coursework in water quality monitoring or related disciplines is preferred. Knowledge of water quality parameters, monitoring techniques, and regulations. Familiarity with water sampling and analysis methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of IFC PS requirements is preferred
