Lead Shopify Developer/Senior Shopify Developer

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Shopify Developer, you'll transform ideas into exceptional e-commerce solutions, enhance user experiences, and optimize performance on the Shopify platform.

Responsibilities include:
* Converting specifications and mock-ups into functional solutions.
* Modifying and updating sites to incorporate new features and improve UI/UX design.
* Developing and testing third-party Shopify applications.
* Creating and customizing Shopify accounts.
* Ensuring seamless integration with Shopify Apps, Marketing Tools, and APIs.
* Collaborating with UI/UX design teams for innovative user experiences.
* Debugging and testing websites regularly for improved performance.
* Providing technical support to safeguard against failures.
* Optimizing websites to increase conversion rates.
* Acting as a Shopify expert with comprehensive eCommerce knowledge.

What we're looking for in a candidate:
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
* 7+ years of experience in Software Web Development, including 5+ years with Shopify.
* Expertise in Shopify Plus and its theming system, Liquid templating, Shopify Functions and Storefront API.
* Proven experience in checkout page customization, project estimation, and delivery.
* Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (vanilla, ES2015/ES6), and frameworks.
* Proficiency with Rest and GraphQL APIs and databases like MySQL.
* Experience with responsive design and debugging tools.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience, including leading development teams, with a proven ability to drive process improvements and take ownership of projects to ensure they are completed to the highest quality. Strong communication skills in English are essential, along with a collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and attention to detail when implementing designs and creative visions.
