Global General Tax Accountant

LOCATION: BGC, Taguig
WORK SETUP: 4x a onsite per week/1 day wfh
SCHEDULE: Regular hours of 8AM to 5PM shift but should be open to do shifting mostly for AU, EU as deemed needed only

QUALIFICATIONS:
*A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification is strongly preferred.
*At least 5-7 years of experience in tax accounting, encompassing global tax compliance and general accounting. Experience in a public accounting firm or a multinational corporation is advantageous.
*A solid understanding of global tax regulations, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding taxes, transfer pricing, and tax treaties.
*Proficient in general accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close procedures. Familiarity with GAAP or IFRS is crucial.
*Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and financial data.
*Experience with accounting and tax software such as SAP and Netsuite. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is required.
*Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of clearly conveying tax and accounting concepts to non-experts.
*A high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in both tax compliance and general accounting tasks.
*Experience in a global, multi-currency environment is preferred.
*Have knowledge of AASB15 and AASB16 is preferred.
*Flexibility or dynamic person. With positive attitude/willingness when it comes to a very demanding environment in terms of quality and time-bound requirements
